GLENN ROSENBERG
Print Media Specialist
Glenn attended the State University of New York at Fredonia, intending to major in Medical Technology. During his first semester, lured by the promise of free LP’s, (if you don’t know what LP’s are, ask your parents) he wandered into the college radio station. Glenn found himself doing a daily radio show, and the medical career was put on hold. It was during one of these shows that Glenn’s future wife called in to win a contest and, he had his first groupie. Recognizing that his prospects as a professional DJ, were very, very limited, Glenn took to selling commercials on the station. He knew that selling advertising was his calling in life. After graduating with a degree in Broadcast Management, Glenn joined the Radio Advertising Bureau, the national trade association for the radio industry. After several years at the hub of the radio industry, Glenn joined WPIX-FM radio as an account executive. A year later, in 1983 he joined WBLS-FM. Over the next 16 years, Glenn moved up the ranks from Account Executive, to Local Sales Manger, to General Sales Manger. Glenn left to form On Time Media, a full service media buying service specializing in direct response, placing radio, TV, cable, newspaper, magazines, and inserts. Now representing the advertiser, Glenn was able to take his “insider” knowledge and maximize media buys for his clients. Glenn has created a network of “remnant” (i.e., Super Discounted) newspaper, magazine and insert/shared mail properties to Superfriends. Today he has a stable of over 800 daily newspapers and 500 magazines that offer standby rates of up to 80% off rate card to our clients.
Glenn lives on Long Island with his wife and (still) groupie Karen. They have 3 children; Josh, Matt and Chelsea. |
